MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! I wish I was going to be home but it just does not work this year. I will miss you all but will still be thinking of you. I can't wait to be home in January! I will see you then. I will be talking to everyone on Christmas tomorrow. I love you!!

All of my grades are in and I have a 4.0 this semester! That puts me overall at a 3.87 because I had a B in English Comp in Texas. Which just means I have to work super hard next semester and bring that overall to a 3.9.

So far 3 grades have come in Anatomy Lab=A Speech=A Anatomy=A. I have 2 more to come in! Algebra and Sociology!! Today was my last class this semester!

I had a great Birthday weekend. But it was COLD! Sunday and today our highs are negative #s and Saturday was 26 and below. Well Sat. night we went to Sean's Company Christmas party and it was pretty fun. We got dressed up even though there was a blizzard coming. So Sat. morning I went and had a practice run for the hair style I will have at the wedding. I figured why waste money so we did it when we were going to go out for the night. (I have pictures I will attach to the blog) Tuesday at noon I will be done with school for this semester. I have a final today @ 6pm and Tue. @ 11am. By this Friday I should know what my grades are and as soon as they are final on Friday I can send in my nursing school application. Gotta go study for my final today. I will see you all soon.

I woke up to a surprise winter wonderland again this morning. I hope I never get tired of that. I really love it. Maybe it's a December baby thing but, I always wanted it to snow in Texas every winter and rarely got it. Well the semester is winding down! I will be done with it on Tuesday at noon! I have two completed grades so far... Speech A and Anatomy Lab A (this was my hardest class). So far So good. I have all kinds of countdowns right now... Sunday I will be 31 AAAAAhhhhh scary. We have 72 days to go on the wedding!! I get to come home in 28 days!! I will post some pictures next week. I am going to do a practice run on my wedding day hair on Saturday. It is Sean's company Christmas party so I am going to do it for that so I can have nice hair for the party and do a practice run for the wedding. I guess that is it for now...

PS I guess I do need to figure out a bit of a schedule for while I am home. The shower will be on Saturday the 10th is about all I know and it will be at Botanic Gardens. You will all get invites for that. Reggie let me know your work schedule that weekend since I think I will be staying with you guys and you get to be my Taxi!!!!!

Well it's winding down to finals time! I am working hard to keep these A's and it's not easy. I have an 88 right now in Anatomy lab so I am working on getting my A back. I am only worried because it has taken people 2 and 3 tries to get into the nursing program. Acceptance is based on a compilation of your class scores,how many classes you have finished,an interview,your references, and an entrance exam. I send in my application for the nursing program as soon as grades this term are final and then I have to take an entrance exam and do an interview. I should know about my acceptance around April 15th.

Wedding plans are going well and I should be sending out invites around mid-December. I am getting really excited to see everyone in January. It sounds far away but then again so did Thanksgiving and here we are!!

My trip home...
I will arrive in Texas on the 8th of January at 11am
and will leave on the 12th of January at Noon.

Ok everyone I am at mid-term time. As far as my adding up and averaging go I at this point have an "A" in all classes. Anatomy/Anatomy Lab/Speech/Algebra/Sociology. So I am in good position to hold an "A" for all classes at finals. That is what I am going for at the very worst I may have a "B" or two. I apply for the nursing program on Feb. 1st 2009 and should have an answer by the end of April. I have severely cut my hours with Cabela's I will work 1-2 weekends a month starting Nov. 8th. Thats all I have for now. I hope to talk to everyone very soon.

It took a while but I finally got the grades on all those tests I took. I am going to try to be happy with these grades (not that they are bad,I just want all A's). Here are the 1st test grades for each class except speech we don't have tests in that class.

Just a quick note.

Out of my 3 tests I got one back. I made a 95 on the algebra test.

But I am really writing to tell everyone that we have snow in our forecast for Saturday and Sunday. It was in the 40s today and will also be tomorrow. Well Sean gets back from his hunt tomorrow and starts his new job full time on Monday. I will let you guys know about the rest of my tests and the weather!!! Hope it does not look like this again!!!!!!!!!

Today...not a good one. Let's hope the week gets better!

Well today started with getting up at 5ish and driving Sean to his parents to leave to go hunting. His dad (who loves our dogs and they love him back) wanted to pet them in the car and when he put his hand in the window the already riled up dogs who could not see because it was dark bit him (at least Mickey did). As anyone would he pulled back and he was bitten worse than anyone has ever been by Mick. He has 4 pretty deep and large lacerations and was really bleeding. Of course this happens on the day they leave to go out to nowhere for a week. I just pray he is ok and it does not get infected. I feel so bad and I really don't want them to dislike Mickey. Well nothing much else has happened. Everyone keep me in your thoughts I have 3 BIG tests this week (2 Tue. 1 Wed). I miss everyone!

My First Blog!

Dear Family and Friends,
I have decided to start a blog to help keep all of you up to date on my life. Or we could say the lack of life due to school and work. I will start with saying I am sorry for not keeping in touch better but I am either busy or tired most of the time. I have classes 5 days a week and I am working around 25 hours a week. School is going well but I have to spend lots of time studying to keep up. I have only taken one test so far (anatomy) I made a high B or I got 70 out of a total of 80 points. Other than that I have had a few quizzes and have done well with them. The wedding plans have not moved much because we have not had the time. Luckily we got a lot done before school started. Sean is also doing well. Tuesday will be his last day at his India job. He is now working afternoons at his new job and will start full time when he gets back from hunting about mid October. He will not have as much of a salary so money will be tight be we are working through it. We are very happy and excited that we have less than 5 months before the wedding. Well that is all I can think to tell you for now. I hope everyone will get to read this and have some insight as to how life is here in South Dakota. I plan to try to write once or twice a week and I will let you guys know when there is a new post.
